European
European hardwoods are a popular choice across the world, recognized for their appealing and sleek aesthetic, as well as their strong and durable properties. This type of timber originates from areas such as France, Germany, and England.
European hardwood timber has subtle differences from American Hardwood. For example, despite coming from the same species of tree, European Oak tends to have a darker, browner, and slightly more rich color in comparison to American Oak. European Oak timber also typically has a softer and more wavy grain pattern, whilst American Oaks generally have quite pronounced graining.
European hardwoods are frequently used in flooring projects. European Oak flooring is a common feature in many buildings and domestic projects, as are European Oak veneers.
